Date Night: Gather and Graze

When’s the last time you had a date night?

If it’s been a while, mark your calendar for Aug. 14 at 8:30 p.m., because Restored is hosting the date night you need (and deserve) - right in the comfort of your own home.

When we had to cancel our big July 31 in-person event due coronavirus, we were beyond disappointed. At the same time, we wanted to offer a meaningful alternative to support our community of moms. And here’s what we know: In the past few months, stay home orders have rocked our worlds, kids we love are around all. the. time., and our plans for school are everchanging. We’re stressed, and it makes planning a date night super low on the priority list.

But, in order to be solid parents, diligent workers, faithful friends, loyal church members and fill any one of our many other rolls – we MUST put our marriages FIRST. Above school concerns. Above Netflix. Above work deadlines. Above workouts. Above kids.

Yes, it’s that important.

So, we’ve planned it for you! We’ve selected the food. We even picked the wines. All you have to do is show up! I mean, you do still have to hit the grocery store for supplies, but we’ve even created a printable grocery list.

So, put the kids to bed, grab your significant other and meet us in your kitchen for our first virtual date night: Gather and Graze!

Kayte Fry, a talented food stylist and creator of one-of-a-kind charcuterie boards, will teach us how to craft a beautiful tray to enjoy together. Kayte creates custom grazing boards and boxes + aesthetic curation for events and brands and is a mom of two in Holly Springs. What we love most about Kayte is her heart for hospitality and her belief that food is a ministry meant to gather people and create community – which nicely aligns with what Restored is all about.
