New Virtual Series: Ask The Expert
We were created for community – and that’s becoming more and more apparent every day in a quarantined world. We miss our families, our friends, our co-workers and our typical routines that bring us face-to-face with others. There’s just no replacing a hug, a handshake or an in-person smile!
We’re all making it work (and showing a lot more respect for teachers and stay-at-home moms, amiright?!), but it’s healthy to remember that this season is just that – a season. And, while we’re all praying for those affected by COVID-19, we must do things that combat isolation in the here and now. That’s why Restored is offering free virtual programming throughout the month of April – to encourage community and equip you with resources to be your best quarantined self. Our goal is to build community while bringing you the resources you need to do good work and love your family well.
So far this month, we’ve already offered a virtual painting class and Bible studies to 100 moms. And, these virtual events have been so worthwhile! So, we’re moving forward with new sessions that will help you press on through the coming weeks. We’re excited to invite you to our Ask the Expert series where we welcome past Restored speakers, along with a few new guests, to share their expertise and allow you to voice the questions on your mind to someone with expertise on the topic. Check out these upcoming opportunities:
Business Ownership with Stephanie Llorente (yep, that’s me!) – Business owners are in a weird spot right now, and while I won’t have all the answers, it does help to talk things through with others who are in the same boat.
Home Organization with Jeanne Rizzi – Jeanne spoke at a session last year and had so many helpful tips for making a home both organized and functional.
Mental Health with Ashley Wright – Ashley spoke in January, and her content was incredibly popular with our community.
Money Matters with Mary Elizabeth Twiddy – There are so many questions surrounding this topic in our current environment. Let’s get those questions addressed by someone in the know!
Will you join us? I can’t wait to see your face…over the computer for now, and in-person soon (I hope)!
