The Perfect Buffalo Chicken Dip

contributed by Stephanie Llorente

This Buffalo Chicken Dip is one of our favorite football-viewing snacks. That said, we also make it for tailgating, parties, game days and random Wednesday nights when we’re in the mood for it!

I often prepare it in advance and refrigerate it before baking, but consider yourselves warned…this creamy baked dip is highly addictive!

And, a big shout out to my friend Sarah, who actually hails from Buffalo (so it’s extra legit!) and shared this recipe with me years ago.

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 boneless chicken breasts

  • 1 cup bleu cheese dressing

  • 1 package cream cheese

  • 1 small bottle of Frank’s Hot Sauce

  • Shredded mozzarella cheese

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 425°F. Meanwhile, cube and boil the chicken breast in water until it is cooked through.

In an oven-safe 9x13 casserole dish, spread the cream cheese along the bottom.

Once the chicken is cooked and drained, shred it in a separate bowl. (Pro tip: Use a Kitchen Aid paddle to break it town for you)

Add the blue cheese dressing and Frank’s Hot Sauce to the chicken and stir to combine.

Spread the chicken mixture over top of the cream cheese and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.

Bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese becomes bubbly and golden brown.

Serve with Triscuits, Wheat Thins, tortilla chips, Fritos (my personal favorite!), or veggies for a healthier option.
