About Julie Bullock, MSW, LCSW
Julie is an outpatient mental health therapist in Clayton, N.C., with nearly 15 years of experience in the field. She works primarily with children, teens and young adults in need of support to address issues related to stress, anxiety, depression, adjustment challenges, grief, self-harm, self-esteem, etc. She is a graduate of N.C. State University (M.A Psychology), as well as East Carolina University, where she earned her Master’s in Social Work.
Julie recently received her Certificate in Biblical Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. She incorporates various aspects of her faith in counseling, as well as traditional methods found in the Social Sciences/Psychology (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; Strengths-Based and Person-Centered therapies). She also started Thoughts From Your Therapist earlier this year as a means to provide free mental health awareness and advice through helpful content which can be found on Instagram and Facebook.
She and her husband have two daughters, and they enjoy serving within their local church. Julie loves the beach and a good book.
