2022 Gift Guide: Best Gifts for Working Moms

Hey, mamas! Who’s the worst gift giver in your family? Whoever it is, print out the gift guide below, send a link to their inbox or casually hint that they should check out the Restored blog, because we’ve got you covered!

This year’s gift guide is filled with suggestions for career-minded moms – gifts for the home, gifts for the office and gifts that are great for women on the go.

All that said, I want to make it really clear that NONE of these gifts actually matter. The only gift that truly deserves our adoration is one that has already been gifted. It was given about 2,000 years ago in the small town of Bethlehem by a God who cares for you and your family more than you will ever know. I hope you get every item listed below, mama, but if you get nothing…you still have everything. Merry Christmas!

For The Home

  • Graticube – If I could buy one thing for a working mother and her family, it would be this. It’s not expensive. It helps put Christ at the center of a family activity. And, it’s easy peasy with exactly zero cleanup. BONUS: Use code FLASH15 for 15% off!

  • Ninja Coffee Maker – I’m not familiar with this coffee maker (I use my Nespresso daily), but it comes highly recommended by moms in the know.

  • Coffee Warmer – Who wants cold coffee? Well, me I suppose, since I don’t like hot ones, but. most moms do! This coffee warmer was on last year’s gift guide and is doing its second tour of duty.

  • Crockpot or Instapot – Back by popular demand, these two items were again recommended by our community as life-saver kitchen products.

  • Easy Storage Charcuterie Board - Best. Charcuterie. Board. Ever. Everything you need is stored within the board itself, so you don’t have to search for extra trays, cheese knives or display boards. I use this often.

  • eufy – You’ll see on my list of What Not to Buy Mom for Christmas that you should not purchase a cleaning product. This is the one exception. Word on the street is that this product competes nicely - in function and price - with the Roomba.

  • Outlet Shelf – When we got tired of our Alexa devices and cords everywhere, we bought one of these…and then we bought several more. It’s such a great solution to hide cords for anything you need to keep near an outlet.

  • Rolling, Self-Watering Planter – My husband purchased this for me for our anniversary in April because I’m notoriously horrible when it comes to remembering to water plants. (I’m convinced plants die because of my mom brain.) BUT, this planter actually self waters and rolls to where the sunlight is best - problem solved!

  • Notes Candle Refill System – I’m adding this to my personal list, and I rarely add “candle” to my wish list. All I can tell you is that I was at my friends house for a girls night and literally everyone in the room was asking about the heavenly smell. BONUS: It’s an environmentally friendly product.

  • Local Finds – I’m blessed to have met each of these business owners this year, and they all have wonderful (and affordable!) holiday gifts that support the life of a working mother…please check them out! For additional local business suggestions and a list of discount codes, click here.

    • Pure Coast Naturals – I met Luisa through Restored, and she is equal parts fun and fabulous. I’ve been using her dry shampoo and highly recommend.

    • Poppy and Pink – I may Kaylee at a conference, immediately loved her…and her clothing.

    • Hope Clay – I met Erica while vendor hunting for a Restored event. She may be the kindest person ever - and also insanely talented. She uses that talent to craft beautiful earrings and share her inspiring story of infertility and hope. Use Restored10 for 10% off all orders

On The Go

  • Water Bottle with Measurements - It’s hard to measure water intake, but this bottle makes it so much easier. Plus, it’s cute.

  • Sports Bra - It’s not a traditional gift, but so many women use the new year as a time to kickstart their fitness goals. Support their goals (and their ta-tas), but make sure the gift has non-removable pads. The removable ones are so very annoying. Champion and the Calia line have some good options.

  • Oura Ring - Move over Apple Watch. This is less bulky with similar - maybe better? - data points. Get your wallet ready because this is not a cheap gift.

  • Write the Word - These journals are a great option for women who want to integrate their faith into their every day. It’s especially great for women who travel but don't want to bring a bulky Bible in their carry-on.

  • Functional Diaper + Computer Bag - This is a great option for new moms. It merges home and work with motherhood needs and office function. BONUS: It’s headquartered locally.

For The Office

  • Prept Subscription – I want this for myself (hint, hint hubby)! Prep is an app that provides the modern, on-the-go woman with virtual, personalized style and beauty assistance so she can save time and feel beautiful and confident during any and all occasions. BONUS: It was started by an NC State grad (Go Pack!)! DOUBLE BONUS: You get a discount! Use code RESTORED10 for 10 percent off!

  • Sweater Blazer – In all honesty, this could go in the home or office category. A Restored mom suggested the J. Crew sweater blazer for its versatility (I’d love it in grey), but it’s pricey. So, if you’re interested in this style, but want to save some cash, check out this Amazon find.

  • Digital Picture Frame – Mamas miss their babies while at work, so this brings the kiddos the work (without the need to find them snacks and make them behave). A great gift suggestion by a Restored mom!

  • Acrylic Calendar – This calendar solves two problems for moms: form and function. It helps keep the family organized (function) and still looks pretty (form). Plus, it’s reasonably priced.

  • Sharpie Pens – I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: These pens are the best - and a great stocking stuffer.

  • Books – These book suggestions are from an old blog post that still resonate with career-minded moms. I would also add one more: Redeeming Your Time by Jordan Raynor.

  • Coworking Membership – There are so many coworking options these days, and I’m a huge fan of getting out of your own four walls to mingle with others. If Cary, N.C., is convenient for you, snag a membership to Blush Cowork, my personal fave!
