Things Look Different Around Here

Our pastor gave an incredible sermon this weekend. He beautifully blended Old and New Testament scriptures to remind us of God's greatness and ended with Paul's writing in 2 Corinthians about how we showcase His greatness when we are humble, weak and  broken. The sermon itself was humbling. How often am I guilty of thinking I built Restored? Or believing I can sustain it? I didn't. And, I can't.

If you hear me say anything about Restored, hear me say this: This amazing community of mamas is not mine. God creates. And He created Restored. He continues to put people, ideas and organizations in my path to give it life, and I'm grateful. This season is proof positive of that.

Since October, four special ladies have worked diligently to understand, update and unleash a refreshed brand concept for Restored. You'll notice that things look a bit different around here - in the best way! While our values, offerings and commitment to Christ-centered community remains steadfast, we now have a new logo, a fresh color pallet, modern fonts and updated imagery that more accurately reflect the professional, approachable, Christ-centered feel Restored is so well known for in the Triangle and beyond. We're rolling this rebrand out one step at a time, so if you're not following along on IG, Facebook or LinkedIn (@restoredformoms on all), it's a good time to start.

I owe a huge thank you to Katie Reintgen for her incredibly strategic brand brain, Lauren Lisenby for her ability to do everything artsy 100x better than me, Devyn Voorheis for her logo creation wizardry, and Amanda Ovitz for always executing the details of any project so flawlessly. The Bible tells us that when we each use the gifts we're given, we display the fullness of God. I believe that these gals have done that so well. May He be on display through Restored because of the gifts they’ve shared.

And, for any mama who's tired, overwhelmed, distracted or busy, we hope that when you engage with Restored, virtually or in-person, that you always leave feeling Restored.
